Our Lamb is Quality Lamb
We are 5th Generation Farmers at Rockleigh in the Adelaide Hills. We know how to raise and grow quality lamb.
Our White Suffolk cross bred lambs are bred, born, raised and grown on our Adelaide Hills family farm at Rockleigh in the Adelaide Hills.
Our sheep and lambs graze on our pastures and are free to graze across our generous sized paddocks. To ensure the health of our animals and sufficient feed, there may be some supplementary feeding.
Our White Suffolk cross bred lambs are transported a short distance (less than 30km) from our family farm at Rockleigh to our Adelaide Hills processing partner. This ensures a low-stress experience for our lambs, which ensures optimal tenderness and eating quality.
Our lambs live a great life on our farm
Our lambs have been born and raised in open paddocks on milk with their Mum’s, grazing in our open paddocks.
The lambs Mum’s (ewes) have been in open paddocks, grazing on our pastures and offered supplementary hay. Our ewes have been offered legumes and some grain across the months when feed supply reduces. The ewes are returned to grazing grass and pastures along with hay, after autumn rains increase grass and pastures in our paddocks.

Buying Farm Direct Lamb
Purchasing meat farm direct is a little different to purchasing meat from your local supermarket or butchers shop.
It is slow food. There is time between your purchase and delivery. In this time the following processes need to occur; booking the animal for the next available processing time slot, processing, hanging time, butchering and packaging. These processes can take between two and six weeks, depending on seasonal demand for processing time slots. As a general rule, I would expect customers to receive their meat delivery in about one month from ordering.
