Dolly’s Dream Update July 2026.
This last weekend the work for kindness and against bullying by the DOLLY’S DREAM CHARITY was show cased on the rural ABC program of Landline.
For country people, ABC Landline is a weekly regular viewing. Where we can see country people and country life from all corners of Australia represented on our screens.
Anyone who has been here for a while with us, knows that our farm has supported and fundraised for the Dolly’s Dream Charity over the past 3 years we have been running our Adelaide Hills family farm business of Peppermint Ridge Farm Co.
The Landline story is a wonderful summary of the amazing work by Dolly Everett’s parents, Tick and Jo.
To advocate for change for other kids and families navigating parenting through the online world, we find ourselves in today. I hope you will take the few minutes to listen.
It has been wonderful to see the Dolly’s Dream workshops for kids and families in local Adelaide Hills schools.
I have been encouraged by the parents also attending the Dolly’s Dream workshops.
As I feel that it is by having the hard conversations and working together as a community that we can make “speak even if your voice shakes” the norm in our communities.
DOLLY’S DREAM WEBSITE
Support resources for parents and kids facing struggles with bullying, online bullying and cyberbullying.
Or parents wanting to know how they can navigate the really hard challenges of vulnerabilities our kids face in the online world.
And a place to get help when these hard things go wrong.
E-SAFETY COMMISSIONER
The e-safety Commissioner is also another excellent place to seek help and what to do when things go wrong for your kids online.
Telling you the specific steps of what to do. What information to collect. How to take action for your kids.
Holding people accountable, when they are making choices to harm kids online.
Thank you for supporting our farm’s Dolly’s Dream in May for DO IT FOR DOLLY DAY.
Love to you all, Misses Farmer X
